Why was my photo rejected?
Main Photos are normally rejected because they do not meet the set criteria. Photos must clearly show your face head on and you must be the only person in the photo. Group photos are not permitted or any photos that include children, any form of advertising, street names, car number plates, personal contact info or messages. Any photos that have been extensively edited or are found to be offensive or inappropriate will also be rejected.
Rules for photos displayed in your Public Photo album are not as strict but are still regulated and monitored to ensure they are not inappropriate or offensive. Photos including children, street names, and car number plates or any form of advertising will be rejected.
Photos may also be rejected if they are not compatible with the website. They must be over the minimum size of 100 x 100 pixels, not over 1MB in size and in JPEG, GIF or BMP format. We recommend that your use JPEG for best picture quality results.
Why can’t I hide my main photo?
You are not able to hide your main photo however you can to upload a photo to your Private Gallery where it will only be visible to members of your choice.
How many photos can I upload?
Members can upload up to 5 photos including your main photo.
Why was my personal ad rejected?
Personal ads are normally rejected because they do not meet the set criteria. They are rejected if they contain any personal info such as emails, phone numbers, web addresses, names and addresses and commercial messages. Ads found to be inappropriate or offensive and don’t meet with our Term of Use will also be rejected.
Why do I keep getting emails?
When you register with our site you are automatically setup to receive email alerts. To change or stop these alerts you must go to `My Account’ where you will able to filter the alerts you receive.
How do I email someone?
You can email members by going to their profile or by replying to their emails.
How can I delete my profile from the site?
To delete your profile please email our customer care department and include your user name and the email address you used at registration. We will deal with your request within 48 hours.
